Novellas Healthcare - a staffing agency for the Life Sciences Industry - is looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the region Liege, Namur, Walloon Brabant and Luxembourg to join the Benelux affiliate of our client who is active in rare diseases and pneumology

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will act as the company’s representative in the field, responsible for establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your primary role is to deliver accurate and relevant medical and scientific information to customers while gathering critical insights on medical trends, market developments, and competitor activities.

The MSL proactively identifies opportunities and takes appropriate actions to support the company’s objectives. Through the exchange of detailed medical and product information, you will enhance the understanding of the company’s products, their therapeutic applications, and their competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and continuously update your scientific expertise, ensuring familiarity with relevant clinical trends and developments related to the company’s products and strategic therapeutic areas.
  • Organize and lead thematic meetings, journal clubs, advisory boards, and both internal and external training sessions to disseminate specialized knowledge on key topics.
  • Effectively translate scientific data into practical insights, sharing important findings with healthcare professionals and facilitating discussions on data interpretation.
  • Manage external and internal inquiries, claims, projects, and events related to the company’s products and therapeutic areas, ensuring accurate dissemination of medical information.
  • Develop, nurture, and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, continuously optimizing customer-centric strategies to meet evolving needs.
  • Gain insights into the changing requirements of healthcare professionals, proactively identifying and implementing solutions that benefit both the customer and the company.
  • Oversee services provided to existing customers, monitor loyalty, and initiate activities aimed at strengthening customer relationships.
  • Represent the company at scientific congresses and symposia, actively participating in these events to promote the company’s expertise and products.

Requirements information

  • Completed medical or scientific education at the university level (e.g., Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences) with relevant professional experience and intellectual capability.
  • Strong commercial and creative mindset with proven ability to build and maintain a professional network.
  • Residence in Namur/Walloon Brabant province preferred, with willingness to travel daily.
  • Strong project management skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
  • Basic knowledge of clinical study developments.
